Okay, all you connoisseurs out there -- here comes one of those not-so-often seen opportunities. What we are looking at here is a Conn alto whose 203xxx serial number dates it to 1927. Ha! Somebody thought he could fling around a little extra cash and get the super fancy engraving and the gold plate! A couple years later and his whole stock portfolio went pffffffft ! Poor guy. Anyway .. what to tell ya ..

• Burnished Gold plate is in fantastic shape, just showing a bit of wear on the palm and side keys, plus a spot on the bell (shown in pic) where the silver shows thru
• Beautiful "Lady" portrait
• And lots of scrolly engraving
• "Fingernail file" G# key identifies this as being of the "Chu" era
• No dents (yay)
• Fresh and thorough overhaul means you can take this puppy out tonite and wail away, then continue to do so for a good decade+ before messing with any repairs. This appears to be a serious pro overhaul, not a "home job" -- nice flat metal resos, real smooth action, good sealing up and down...
• Original purple-lined Conn case is in good shape and non-stinky.
