Information: Offer this great and beautiful vintage L. Pierret
Saxophone. This unique saxophone is in great condition special if you
look at his age. Inscription on the horn says: Nil Mélior Deposé, L.
Pierret, Paris, 12428 Modéle 5, Essayé Par H Poimboeuf. “Soliste de la
republicaine”. I also think that this Saxophone was made for: ‘H.
Piombeuf. On the rim of the horn you can see a text: CR24 And also you
can see two times the serie number. Also the saxophone is still been
playing by his owner it has a beautiful old Jazz sound. L. Pierret
introduced in 1906. The last produced in the late 1950’s or early 1960
horns marked (English translation). “From the workers of Millereau and
Besson” (Millereau was purchased by Selmer in the 1930’s. Besson was
purchased SML between 1935 and 1940). There are a lot of models of
Pierret which are named from “Modéle 1”to “modéle 7 and after appears
Super Artist series (modéle in the French word of model). After Modéle
3 appears the label “Nil Melior deposé” => Patent name. The
saxophone is used by the “La garde républicaine” which is a sign of
good quality and known by numerous “fanfares” in France. There is a
reserve price on it so good luck with bidding.
