Description

SELMER SOUNDMASTER TENOR SAX. Selmer made this instrument berween 1948 and 1951. It is much sought after. This example is mechanically and musically sound, and not long ago had a professional re-pad. Cosmetically, the sax could do with a bit of work, as the brass is a bit tarnished in places. (See photograph). The sax has great potential, and comes with the original fitted case, a couple of mouthpieces, various odd reeds, (new), and an old reed cutter. I think it is the instrument itself that will be of interest to those in the know. Serial number 39151. I'm selling the sax for a friend, and he knows next to nothing about the instrument, or its history. Any questions however, I will try and answer. Payment must be in GB Pounds Sterling, thanks.
